Welcome to the website of the Charlottetown Police Services. As Chair of the Police & Bylaw Enforcement Committee I am committed to fostering a positive and trusting relationship between our Police Services and the citizens of Charlottetown. Our members are committed to the principles of community policing and the open sharing of information with the public. I believe the launch of this website will play a vital role in fulfilling this commitment.

On behalf of myself and the members of the Police Services I welcome you to our new home on the web.
For the second year in a row, the pace of change within the Police Service has been unprecedented. Our Management Team continues to advance the aggressive changes sparked by the recent organizational review having fully implemented 33 of the 45 recommendations, with the remaining a work in progress.
The result has had a dramatic impact on how our Police Service interacts and is perceived within our communities.
The strength of our service lies in our staff and our ability to foster relationships with other stakeholders in our communities and across the province. Our officers and staff take great pride in their work and are committed to the citizens of Charlottetown to build safer and healthier communities.
As the challenges of the future unfold, we will continue to build with our partners to achieve our mission and realize our vision in working towards solving the problems that affect our community because in the end it is collectively;
