Theft of Motor Vehicle – Charges Laid

At 7:42am on Wednesday April 3rd, Charlottetown Police Service responded to a complaint of a stolen 2019 blue Dodge Ram pick up truck from a residence on North River Road that happened sometime overnight.   Other Law Enforcement on PEI were made aware of the stolen pick up truck at that time.  Shortly after 8:00am, a citizen in Summerside reported suspicious activity to Summerside Police involving a blue Dodge Ram.  Police located the vehicle, identified it at the one stolen, and arrested the male driver.

A 19 year Charlotttetown man has been charged with possession of stolen property and remains in custody at this time.
