Charlottetown Police Services responded to several possible impaired driver complaints over the weekend, two of which have resulted in charges.
On Saturday morning shortly after 7:30 am , Police responded to a compliant of a possible impaired driver on the Kensington Road. The vehicle was located and the driver displayed signs of impairment by alcohol and was arrested A 44 year old Charlottetown male was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle.
At 2:10 am pm on Sunday morning, while conducting a routine traffic stop, the Officer determined that the driver was impaired by alcohol A 20 year old Stratford male was arrested and subsequently charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle.
Both individuals will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
