Large Gatherings – Public Health Act Fines Issued

Since last Thursday (March 4th), Charlottetown Police Services have responded to responded to six (6) separate complaints of a large gatherings at City residences.  Three (3) $1000 dollar tickets were issued in violation of section 39(8) of the Public Health Act which prohibits indoor personal gatherings in excess of 6 people.

On Thursday night at 8:05 pm, a 40 year old male was issued a violation ticket. (2021287397)

On Sunday morning at 1:30 am,  a 22 year old male was issued a violation ticket. (2021299173)

On Sunday morning at   4:35 am, a 24 year old female was issued a violation ticket. (2021299450)
