Follow us on TwitterFollowing a 4 weeklong drug investigation, Charlottetown Police Services Street Crime Unit arrested and charged two females yesterday afternoon.
The two women were arrested by the Charlottetown Police Services Street Crime Unit Officers on Euston Street after observing the pair conduct a drug transaction. A short time later, the Street Crime Unit executed a CDSA search warrant at one of the females place of residence on Euston Street. Police seized a total of 3056 methamphetamine tablets and $4,300 cash.
Tanya Burke and Ashley Saunders, both from Charlottetown have been charged with CDSA 5(2) possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking.
Both accused’s have been released from custody on conditions and will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
