On September 20, Charlottetown Police Services General Patrol Unit arrested and charged 40-year-old Mark Tippett with multiple counts of mischief to a vehicle. A number of witnesses reported seeing Tippett throw a large rock at a vehicle and smash several others with a hammer. In total, seven vehicles were damaged in two parking lots along Water Street.
40-year-old Mark Tippett was charged with the following offences:
• Mischief to a motor vehicle – six counts (s. 430 CCC)
• Uttering threats (s. 264 CCC)
• Breach of probation (s. 733 CCC)
Tippett was remanded and is scheduled to appear in court today (September 24, 2025).
