On September 28, at approximately 2:30 pm, Charlottetown Police Services General Patrol Unit responded to a disturbance on Queen Street outside of the Charlottetown Library Learning Centre. Multiple witnesses reported 25-year-old Haley May Dawn Doiron from Charlottetown was causing a disturbance and unprovokedly harassing and assaulting members of the public.
The 25-year-old female was arrested and charged with the following offences:
- Assault with a weapon (s. 267 CCC)
- Assault – three counts (s. 266 CCC)
- Causing a disturbance (s. 175 CCC)
- Inciting hatred (s. 319 CCC)
- Breach of recognizance (s. 811 CCC)
- Uttering threats (s. 264 CCC)
She was remanded and is scheduled to appear in court on October 2, 2025.
