At approximately 9:40 p.m. on Saturday, November 29, Charlottetown Police Services received a call about an armed robbery in the Fitzroy Parkade. The caller reported that two masked individuals wielding a knife approached his car and demanded money.
Less than 10 minutes later, the General Patrol Unit located and arrested the two suspects, 41-year-old Tyler Dara Carl Gaudet and 26-year-old Daniel Ronald Thorne. Fortunately, there were no injuries related to the incident.
41-year-old Tyler Dana Carl Gaudet and 26-year-old Daniel Ronald Thorne have both been charged with the following offences:
- armed robbery (s. 343 CCC)
- disguise with intent (s. 351 CCC)
- breach of probation (s. 733 CCC)
Both Gaudet and Thorne were remanded and are scheduled to appear in court on December 4, 2025.
