Charlottetown Police Services are investigating a hit and run involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.
On Thursday November 8th sometime between 5:00 and 5:30 pm, a female pedestrian was walking east on St Peters Road approaching Ralden Avenue. As she crossed Ralden Avenue a white taxi van did not stop and struck the female on the drivers side. The female was sent onto the bonnet of the van and rolled off as the van as it came to a stop at the intersection. Once the female got up, the van drove away.The vehicle is described as:- White Taxi van- Cursive font writing on the side of the van- White light on the top of the vanThe vehicle driver was a Caucasian male, late 50’s.Anyone with information regarding this occurrence is encouraged to contact police at 902-629-4172 or PEI Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
