Charlottetown Police Services Street Crime Unit has laid charges in connection with the armed robbery that occurred at the Capital Convenience and Smoke Shop on November 28th 2018.
The armed robbery prompted Police to issue a media release with video asking the public for assistance in identifying the male suspect.
A 23 year old Emyvale man has been charged with one count of armed robbery contrary to section 343(d) of the Criminal Code of Canada and one count of wearing a mask while committing an offence contrary to section 353(2).
The accused has been released from custody with conditions and will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
