Charlottetown Police Services have made an arrest and laid several charges in relation to recent theft from vehicles that have occurred in the Downtown area.
A 45 year old Charlottetown man was arrested at 4:30am this morning (March 14). The accused is a repeat offender with 169 criminal code convictions on his record and is now being charged with eight (8) new offences:
- Theft Under $5000 (x2)
- Breach of Probation (x3)
- Fail to comply with an Undertaking (x2)
- Trespass at Night
The accused has been remanded in custody and will appear in Provincial Court on Friday March 15th 2019.
