Charlottetown Police services have arrested and charged a male in connection with a Robbery that occurred yesterday afternoon.
Police responded to a theft complaint where the victim was assaulted and threatened. The investigation led to the identification of the suspect whom was located and arrested with the assistance of the Charlottetown Police Services Street Crime Unit.
In addition to the Robbery, the suspect was also involved in several other thefts that occurred on the same day.
The accused, a 41 year old Charlottetown man has been charged with:
- Theft Under $5000 (3 counts)
- Breach of Probation (4 counts)
- Breach of a Recognizance Order (4 counts)
The accused will appear in Provincial Court later today for a remand hearing.
