At approximately 9:30 pm on Friday evening, Charlottetown Police Services responded to a complaint of someone ramming their vehicle into another parked vehicle in a parking lot on Lower Malpeque Road.
Upon arrival Police located the suspect vehicle. The driver displayed signs of impairment by drugs and was arrested. The investigation has led to a 45 year old Charlottetown man being charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and mischief under $5000 dollars. The male was brought to the QE hospital where a blood demand was ordered. Impaired driving charges are pending the toxicology results of the blood sample.
The accused will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
