At approximately 11:30 pm on Friday night (July 31), Charlottetown Police Services responded to a complaint of a possible impaired driver on Grafton Street. Police were able to locate the suspect vehicle and performed a traffic stop. Police determined that the driver was impaired by alcohol and placed the male under arrest. He was brought back to the Police Station and refused to provide breath samples.
A 44 year old Charlottetown male has been charged with refusal to provide a breath sample upon demand and will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
