Charlottetown Police Services Street Crime Unit have made an arrest after a week long investigation into several property crimes that occurred in the City.
The suspect was located on Kent Street Friday afternoon. As Officers attempted to arrest him, he fled on foot but was located a short distance away and subsequently arrested and taken into custody.
A 51 year old Charlottetown male has been charged with:
- Break and Enter
- Theft under $5000
- Possession of property obtained by crime
- Resist arrest
- Operating a motor vehicle while prohibited (x2)
- Breach of Probation (x3)
The accused has been remanded in custody and will appear in Provincial Court later today.
