While on routine patrol at 1:45 am on Saturday morning (Oct 31), Officers pulled over a vehicle that had been traveling on Prince Street with no lights on. Police determined that the driver was impaired by alcohol and arrested. A 45 year old Cornwall male was charged with refusing to provide a breath sample and will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
At 1:50 am on Sunday (Nov 1), Police responded to a complaint of persons drinking inside a parked vehicle at a business establishment on the Kensington Road. Police located the vehicle as it was leaving the business and pulled it over. Police determined that the drivers showed signs of impairment by alcohol and was arrested. A second Officer on scene reviewed video surveillance and determined that prior to Police arrival, the passenger of the vehicle had been driving and they switched positions before being pulled over. As a result, the passenger of the vehicle was also arrested for impaired driving. A 19 year old Rollo Bay West male and a 19 year old Kingsboro male were charged with Impaired Operation of a motor vehicle and will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
