Domestic Violence – Charges Laid

As the result of an ongoing domestic violence investigation, Charlottetown Police Services has charged a 34 year old Charlottetown male with several offences.

In relation to the domestic violence complaint on November 26th, the accused has been charged with assault and two counts of failing to comply with a release order.

During the course of the arrest on November 29th, the male became uncooperative and combative with Officers which has resulted in further charges of assault, assault police officer, resisting arrest, mischief under $5000, and two counts of failing to comply with a release order.

The accused remains in custody and will appear in Provincial Court later this week.
