Charlottetown Police Services Street Crime Unit, with the assistance from the Rapid Tactical Deployment Unit and Patrol Officers executed a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act Search Warrant at a residence on the Sleepy Hollow Road Saturday morning (Dec 3, 2022) at approximately 1:00 am.
The search resulted in the seizure of:
- 2 kilograms of crystal meth
- 114 grams of cocaine
- 2811 tablets of speed (methamphetamine)
- 1075 dilaudid pills
- 889 grams of cannabis
- Street value of drugs is approximately $320,000.00 dollars
- $3400.00 cash
- one replica airsoft/bb guns
- other drug paraphernalia
A 47 year old Charlottetown male has been charged with three (3) counts of CDSA 5(2) – Possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking. The investigation is ongoing and may result with further charges being laid.
The accused remains in custody and will appear in court later this week for a show cause hearing.
