Follow us on TwitterAt approximately 7:20 pm last night (Apr 30), Charlottetown Police Services Street Crime Unit, with assistance from the Major Crime Unit and the Rapid Tactical Deployment & Containment Team arrested without incident 35 year old Michael BEBEE at a business establishment on Belvedere Avenue.
Charlottetown Police Services were contacted by Toronto Police Services late last week requesting assistance with tips they had received indicating that Michael BEBEE may be on PEI evading a Canada Wide warrant for his arrest. BEBEE was wanted for a Murder that occurred July 23, 2023 in Toronto. Following the arrest, BEBEE was lodge at the Provincial Correctional Centre. Homicide Detectives from the Toronto Police Service will be traveling to PEI to transport him back to Ontario in the coming days.
Michael BEBEE is listed as #1 on Canada’s 25 most wanted persons on the Bolo Program. The Bolo (Be on the lookout) Program is a breakthrough initiative leveraging social media, technology, and innovative engagement to encourage citizens to be on the lookout for Canada’s most wanted and possibly be eligible for awards up to $100,000 dollars.
