At approximately 11:55 pm on Wednesday June 5, 2024, the Charlottetown Police Services Street Crime Unit arrested a male following an investigation into the illicit drug trade of selling cocaine in Charlottetown.
Officers seized 150 grams of cocaine, a machete, collapsible baton, $5700.00 cash, cell phone, digital scale and a vehicle.
A 42 year old Stratford male will be charged with CDSA 5(2) – Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
The accused has been released from custody with conditions and will appear in Province Court at a later date.
