Charlottetown Fire Department with assistance from Charlottetown Police Services completed their investigation into a fire at an encampment on the property of St. Paul’s Church, 101 Prince Street and concluded that the fire was accidental.

At approximately 3:00am Saturday morning (Aug 10), Charlottetown Police Services and Charlottetown Fire Department responded to a fire on the property of St Paul’s Church located at 101 Prince Street.
The site of the fire is an encampment that was set up by foreign workers. Some protesters were on site during the fire and no injuries were reported to Police at that time.
The investigation is ongoing and Police ask that anyone with information or that may have video to contact police at 902-629-4172, complete the tip section below or contact PEI Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
