At 7:20 am on Oct 26, Charlottetown Police Services responded to a complaint of a male attempting to break into a residence on Fitzroy Street. Several Units responded and a male matching the description was located and arrested without incident. A 42 year old Charlottetown male was charged with break and enter. The male was remanded in custody to allow Halifax Regional Police to attend and pick him up on an unrelated arrest warrant in their jurisdiction. He is facing the following charges in Halifax – break and enter, possession of a weapon for dangerous purposes, mischief under $5000 and uttering threats.

At 9:40 pm last night (Oct 28), Charlottetown Police Services responded to a break and enter that occurred at the Confederation Centre of the Arts on Richmond Street. Multiple units responded and located the male suspect who was attempting to flee the area. A 30 year old Charlottetown male was subsequently charged with break and enter and breach of probation. He was released from custody with conditions and will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
