At approximately 00:55 am on Sunday morning (May 18), members of the Charlottetown Police Services Street Crime Unit conducted a targeted traffic stop on Beach Street. Officers seized 277 grams of Cocaine, 303 Dilaudid tablets, 57 Hydromorphone capsules, 3420 contraband cigarettes, $3000 cash and two cell phones.
52 year old Trevor Dale Acorn has been charged with:
- CDSA 5(2) Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
- CDSA 5(2) Possession of Hydromorphone & Dilaudid for the Purpose of Trafficking
- CCC (Criminal Code of Canada) section 121.1(1) Possession of un-stamped tobacco for the purpose of sale or distribution
The accused has been released with conditions and will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
