Charlottetown Police Services responded to a Break and Enter in progress call at 1:00 pm on June 10th which occurred on Dorchester Street.
The home owner had returned home to find a male going down a staircase behind the residence. When confronted, the suspect fled on foot.
Police were able to identify the suspect and locate him a few hours later.
A 55 year old Charlottetown male has been charged with Break and Enter. The accused was released with Undertaking conditions. He will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
