Domestic Violence – Charge Laid

On Oct 11th at 11:40 pm, Charlottetown Police Services responded to a complaint of a female walking along St Peters Road and appeared to be in some type distress.  The female was located and told Police that she had been assaulted by her boyfriend.  The victim had minor injuries and was taken to the QEH.

As a result of the investigation, a 30 year old Charlottetown male has been charged with assault.  The accused was released from custody with conditions and will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
