Follow us on TwitterYesterday afternoon (Feb 24, 2025) at 3:00 pm , Charlottetown Police Services Street Crime Unit with the assistance of Patrol Units arrested a female following a targeted traffic stop on the Brackley Point Road.
Drug Investigators located and seized 72 grams of cocaine, a small quantity of hashish, two cell phones, a small quantity of cash, and other drug trafficking paraphernalia.
The accused, 43 year old Rebecca Christine Herrell of Charlottetown has been charged with CDSA 5(2) Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. She was released from custody with conditions and will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
The accused has previously been charged and convicted in October 2020 of CDSA 5(2) Possession of crystal methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking. She served a 12 month custodial sentence at that time.
