At approximately 7:30 pm last night, Charlottetown Police Services responded to a complaint of an erratic driver on Riverside Drive described as having driven straight though a round about, drove on the wrong side of the road several times and struck snow banks on the side of the road. Police were able to locate and pull the suspect vehicle over. The driver displayed signs of impairment by alcohol and was arrested. A 63 year old Charlottetown female, who provided breath samples over 3 times the legal limit, has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle.
At approximately 2:15 am this morning, Police responded to a complaint of a possible impaired on Capital Drive. Police located the vehicle and pulled it over. The driver displayed signs of impairment and was arrested. A 64 year old Charlottetown female has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle.
Both females will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
