Follow us on TwitterOn Wednesday night (Jan 11) at 11:45 pm , Charlottetown Police Street Crime Unit with the assistance of Patrol units arrested a male and female following a targeted traffic stop on Cumberland Street.
The search resulted in the seizure of:
- 49 grams of crystal met
- 47.5 grams of cocaine
- 72 dilaudid pills
- Street value of drugs is approximately $16,000.00 dollars
- $3245.00 cash seized
- other drug paraphernalia
A 36 year old male and a 38 year old female, both from Charlottetown, have been charged with three (3) counts of CDSA 5(2), Possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking and breach of probation.
Both have been released with conditions and will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
