Charlottetown Police Services responded to several possible impaired driver complaints over the weekend, two of which have resulted in charges.
On Saturday just after 1:00pm, Police responded to a compliant of a possible impaired driver on the Brackley Point Road. The vehicle was located and the driver displayed signs of impairment by alcohol and was arrested A 27 year old Charlottetown male was charged with refusing to provide a breath sample.
At 8:40 pm on Saturday, Police responded to a suspicious person complaint. The investigation led to a vehicle being pulled over and Officers determined that the driver had been drinking. A 20 year old Brackley man was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle.
Both individuals will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
