Impaired Driving – Charges Laid

At 6:00 pm on Saturday evening (Dec 12), Charlottetown Police Services responded to a complaint of a possible impaired driver that had struck a parked vehicle on Mariner Drive .  Police located the suspect vehicle and driver on Acadian Drive   Police determined that the driver was impaired by alcohol and was arrested.  A 44 year old Charlottetown male was subsequently charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle.

The accused will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
