Last night (Dec 14) at 11:15 pm, Charlottetown Police Services responded to a vehicle collision at the intersection of University Avenue and Belvedere Avenue.
A grey Audi was traveling northbound on University Avenue, as it drove through the intersection, the suspect vehicle which was traveling east on Belvedere Avenue went through the red light and struck the Audi on the front driver side. The suspect vehicle then continued to drive east on Belvedere Avenue and fled the scene. The Audi sustained significant damage but luckily the driver was uninjured.
The suspect vehicle is believed to be a dark, or black smaller vehicle, possibly a Honda Civic. It would have significant front end damage and a broken window.
