Assault with a Weapon – Charges Laid

As part of their ongoing investigation into a December 23, 2018, disturbance outside the Extreme Ink tattoo shop, the Charlottetown Police service’s “Major Crime Unit” have arrested and charged a second suspect.Today a 20 year old Charlottetown man was arrested and charged for Assault with a Weapon contrary to section 267(a) of the criminal Code of Canada. After processing, the accused was released from custody on conditions and will appear in court to answer to the charge on January 31, 2019.Investigation into this matter is ongoing.
