Drug Charges Laid

As the result of an ongoing drug investigation, Charlottetown Police Services Street Crime Unit with the assistance of Patrol Officers executed a drug search warrant at a residence on Elena Court yesterday afternoon at 5:30 pm.

A quantity of cocaine and cash were seized.  Four individuals were arrested and charged:

• a 30 year old Ontario man – charged with Possession of drugs for the Purpose of Trafficking and Fail to Comply with an Undertaking.  This individual has a pending drug charge from a previous drug search executed by Charlottetown Police on February 9th 2020 on Woodward Drive.  The accused will appear in Court later today for a remand hearing.
• a 25 year old Ontario man – charged with Possession of drugs for the Purpose of Trafficking. The accused will be released later today with conditions and will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
• a 30 year old Nova Scotia man – charged with Possession of drugs for the Purpose of Trafficking. The accused will be released later today with conditions and will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
• a 33 year old Charlottetown woman – charged with Possession of drugs for the Purpose of Trafficking. The accused will be released later today with conditions and will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
