At approximately 8:30 pm on Sunday evening (Aug 2), Charlottetown Police Services responded to a complaint of two suspicious males on Queen Street swinging a baseball bat.
Police were able to locate the suspect vehicle associated to the complaint and pulled it over. Police located a baseball bat and two knives which resulted in charges being laid.
A 29 year old Clyde River male has been charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and breach of probation and a 33 year old Charlottetown male has been charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose..
Both males have been released with conditions and will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
