Impaired Driving – Charges Laid

At 5:00 pm yesterday, Charlottetown Police Services responded to a complaint of a possible impaired driver.  The vehicle was located on Queen Street and pulled over.   Police determined that the driver, a 52 year old Charlottetown male was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle.  The accused spent the night in jail and will be appearing in Provincial Court today.
