While on routine patrol at 3:45 am Sunday morning, a Patrol Officer noticed a vehicle pull into a business parking lot on Euston Street and exit the vehicle. The driver of that vehicle appeared unsteady on his feet and prompted the Officer to go speak with him. The Officer determined that the driver displayed signs of being impaired by alcohol and was arrested.
A 36 year old Cornwall male was subsequently charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle. He was also issued a 90 day driving prohibition order and the vehicle has been impounded for 30 days.
The accused will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
