At 9:20 pm last night (May 25), Charlottetown Police Services responded to a complaint on Patterson Drive of a male acting erratically, running from house to house with a metal object in his hand.
Upon arrival, Officers were directed to a house in which the suspect was inside. Police arrested the male without incident. The male displayed signs of being impaired by drugs and was taken to Hospital where he was later cleared and taken into Police custody.
A 34 year old Charlottetown male has been charged with mischief under 5000 dollars, he was released late this morning with conditions and will appear in Provincial Court at a later date. The investigation is ongoing and further charges may be laid.
