Charlottetown Police Services have made an arrest in relation to several investigations of shoplifting that occurred over the last 36 hours.
Over a period of 36 hours three separate occurrences of shoplifting from the Queen Street and Oak Street Liquor Stores were reported to Police. Last night at 10:00 pm a 26 year old Charlottetown male was arrested and charged with these thefts. The accused has been charged with 3 counts of theft under $5000 dollars and 3 counts of failing to comply with an Undertaking given to a Justice of the Peace.
The accused will appear in Court for a remand hearing later today.
