While on routine patrol last evening, a vehicle was observed driving erratically on University Avenue. The Officer pulled the vehicle over and noticed that the driver displayed signs of being impaired by alcohol and was arrested.
A 79 year old Quebec male was subsequently charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle. He was also issued a 90 day driving prohibition order and the vehicle has been impounded for 30 days.
The accused will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
