Charlottetown Police Services responded to two Robberies minutes apart last night.
The first Armed Robbery occurred at approximately 9:55 pm when a male carrying a knife entered Famous Peppers at 202 Kent Street and demanded money. Staff refused to give him anything and the suspect left and headed east on Kent Street.
The second Armed Robbery occurred minutes later at approximately 9:59 pm. The same male entered Sobeys Express at 230 Euston Street and again demanded money but again left empty handed.
The suspect is described as:
- Caucasian male
- 6’0″ tall, slim build
- Face covered with a scarf/bandanna
- Dark clothing
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the Robberies or the suspect before or after the Robberies to contact them. Police are also seeking any video surveillance that may have captured the suspect in the area.
